The Esquire visit places Fog Treaty off Jiujie Street and describes a four-sided island counter with custom drinks. That is a more specific reason to shortlist it than its appearance in a general bar roundup. Ask for a counter seat if talking through flavors is part of your plan.

The report does not provide a complete door number or a current booking policy. Request the exact pin, explain your preferred spirit and agree a price for an off-menu drink. Keep dinner in the same area once the address is confirmed.

4. 2ND LAB: use the full name and a precise pin

Use the full name 重庆 2ND LAB when searching; “2nd” alone produces ambiguous matches. The industry mention supports the venue’s identity, not a promise about today’s menu, quality or walk-in availability. Request a current entrance pin and reservation terms.

5. Bar 62 at Niccolo: the skyline option

Bar 62 sits in Niccolo Chongqing at IFS Tower 1, 1 Qingyun Road — 庆云路1号国金中心1号楼, in Jiangbeizui. The hotel describes cocktails, tapas and live entertainment. This is the straightforward choice when you want a high-floor setting and a hotel team to handle the booking.

There is a verifiable dated price example: the hotel’s Misty City Cloudy Sips offer advertises selected cocktails at CNY 128 per glass, August 22–December 31, 2026, and requests advance reservation. Ask the hotel to confirm the applicable times and terms. That price is not a promise covering the whole menu, a window table or every event night.

Which Chongqing area should you choose for the evening?

For Ziwei Road cocktails, pair Bar Testing with dinner nearby. For a Jiujie-area evening, compare FLAVOR TIKI, Fog Treaty and 2ND LAB after confirming their pins. For the skyline, make Bar 62 the anchor and keep dinner around Jiangbeizui. Choose one area first; a river crossing can make a second reservation impractical.
